Save/ShareThe videos shown in airport security lines obviously serve a purpose—but do they have to be so dang boring? There's at least one airport administrator who feels my pain.
Cindy Martin, CEO of Northwest Montana's Glacier Park International Airport, has taken matters into her own hands with the production of a new TSA-type video—just for her airport. It coaches passengers on all the same rules we've heard a million times... but it's quirky instead of boring.
Ms. Martin commissioned the video from a group of Hawaiian-shirt-clad baby boomers known in her neck of the woods as the Singing Sons of Beaches. They're a cross between Jimmy Buffett and your kookiest uncle. I'm not doing them justice, so click on the video below to check out their tacky greatness for yourself. And pay attention. These are rules, people!

cute but you can take sissors and they didn't address the 3-1-1 bag, all liquids over 3.4 oz must be in a 1 qt bag. People still don't get that. Also camcorders are ok unless you have the old fashion kind that maybe 1% still have. People watching this will still only hear and see 10% of if.

Pat,
I thought the 3-1-1 meant you could have 3 1-oz. bottles in a 1-quart bag. You seem to be saying I can have a 3.4+ oz. bottle in a one-quart bag and smaller ones don't have to be in that bag.
The video is awesome. It would probably drive me crazy if I worked there and had to listen to it all day, though. Talk about an earworm...

I had the same thought as Ducklady-- Great for those in line (I would actually watch this video instead of ignoring like I do the others), but as an employee standing there for 8 days I'd be dreading it.
And Pat does have the 3-1-1 rule wrong. You can't have any liquids or gels over 3.3 oz (100ml). And, all the ones you do have, in containers smaller than that, must fit in your 1 qt bag.
