Your beautiful photos demonstrate that bridges are as much about form as function. The 23 best picks include an ornately carved wooden bridge in Kyoto, a covered bridge in Lucerne, a bridge dangling in a Costa Rican cloud forest, and one suspended high over a Colorado gorge.

Wonderful bridges. While the main text on the "Köln" bridge correctly identifies the structure behind it as the Cathedral in Köln, the tag incorrectly lists it as the "castle."

Since I build bridges for a living, I am very critical of bridge pictures. You have definitely captured some beautiful shots and ornate bridges here. Whether you're looking for ornate bridges, or beautiful settings where they exist, I suggest you come to Oregon and look at some of Conde McCullough's arch bridges. They would stand proud with many in your gallery...

Just South of Weslaco, Texas, deep in the Rio Grande Valley, is the best international bridge crossing for U.S. and Mexico citizens as well as travelers from anywhere. The tourist section of Nuevo Progreso is directly across The River from the U.S. For those traveling the other direction, Progreso is the gateway to The Rio Grande Valley of Texas, U.S.A.

Great photo. Kyoto is a beautiful area. I recognized this bridge immediately. I have a photo of the same bridge taken in the late 50's when I was in Japan while serving in the Navy. Tks. This makes me want to try to find my photos.
Blessings

I loved these photos, and seeing the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges so wonderfully depicted made me homesick for the years I lived in San Francisco! Thanks for the trip down memory lane, and thanks to all the people who took such fantastic photos to share with everyone! They really do make you want to visit each one as another person wrote! Thanks again!

The interventions could consist of surgeries, medicines, therapies, way of living changes and several kinds of counselling, amongst other things. They could be preventive (inoculations) or they may perhaps be reactive (prostheses). They might be dealt with by a wide wide variety of practitioners, these as paramedics, medical professionals, nurses, therapists and the like.
