Watch out Jetsetter and other invitation-only discount travel websites. There's a new guy in town looking to steal some of your bargain-hunting clientele.
BonVoyou.com—a vacation discount club started by three former Orbitz employees earlier this year—caters to vacationers searching for deals at luxury and boutique hotels. The timeless adage "It's all about who you know" is alive and well at BonVoyou. To take advantage of the bargains, you have to be invited to join or know someone who is already a member.
BonVoyou claims to offer hotel savings of up to 50 percent. Every day BonVoyou lists two or three sales that last about five days each. With the discounted price, however, comes a decreased window of availability. Most "sales" are only available three months from the current date.
The site's "discounts" are relative. Purchasing a room at BonVoyou is comparable to shopping for shoes at Nordstrom Rack: It's still pricy, just not as pricy. BonVoyou provides discounts off of luxury and boutique hotels, so the prices aren't exactly what you would call "bargain." For instance, this week's sales include 30 percent off at The James in Chicago and 30 percent off at The Liaison Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. Base room rates for two people, however, range from $150 to $185 per night before taxes.
So if you can score an invite (and handle the price) BonVoyou just might mean a good trip for you.

This site RAWKS! I am def a bargain hunter when it comes to vaca's...and they donate a % of every sale to charity. (insert warm fuzzy feeling)

These seem to be popping up everywhere. Which one is going to survive? My thing with Vacationist and Jet Setter is that yes you get a pretty significant discount, but it's not exactly mind blowing, because the rates you get after the discount aren't cheaper than a lot of other hotels, but just more on par. Sounds like BonVoyou may bring prices down a little more lower and make it a little more attractive.

I've already used BonVoyou several times, and have found that the discounts are really genuine. In fact, I've found that BonVoyou's deals certainly make many hotels considerably more affordable than I've found elsewhere. I've definitely become a BonVoyou convert!

I'm not sure the use in sharing this with us when we can't join the site because it's by invitation only?

Can someone get me into BonVoyou?? I'm a big fan of Jetsetter and would love to be able to access this site as well!!! Would appreciate a referral! I need a member's email address to get "into the club"!!

I agree with Anna - why share this information about BonVoyou if you can't share an invitation.
Disappointed because I don't have an invitation to BonVoyou, but mostly disappointed with Budget Travel.

Luv this site! Got an awesome deal not too long ago on the Fontainebleau in Miami - a trip I probably couldn't have otherwise justified. I do subscribe to Jetsetter as well and although it does vary, I find the discounts on Bonvoyou to be more significant. Definitely worth checking out!

Can't leave out Voyage Prive. I find their discounts to be even better than Jetsetter. It was easy to get an invite for Jetsetter, but it's not so easy with Voyage Prive. I was fortunate enough to get in though.

I'm actually a member of all 3 sites (BonVoyou, Jetsetter and Voyage Prive) and I've actually found that the savings on BonVoyou, and even Jetsetter, seem to be quite a bit better.

How could you actually print such a grammatical error as "off of"? Don't have a proofreader?

I just got in (thanks to someone here). Very good price on the luxury New Orleans getaway. I still say Voyage Prive has the BEST rates. Hands down!!

Question for those who have already used this site: Can you search for hotels or are you limited to the ones that show up as a "sale" on the web site??? That is the only thing coming up for me.
Thanks
