Thanks to all the readers who submitted photos of reflections—and took the time to share thoughtful, fascinating stories about where and why the shots were taken. You blew us away. The result is our best and longest reader slide show yet.
These 24 outstanding shots include giraffes drinking from a waterhole in Namibia, the opulent pool at Hearst Castle, a glacial lake in Iceland, and a row of columns by a mosque in Abu Dhabi. See for yourself in our slide show.

Dear folks at Budget Travel. You make it not easy to send in photographs. In fact I could not find a space dedicated to mailing photographs. Now, your "leave a comment" section was easy to find. Thank you for a nice travel magazine. James Behrend

I was in Borano and Rome 2 years ago. Your pictures, much better than mine, brought me back! unfortunately I cannot seem to email them to myself. I would like to have one as a screensaver

Nice pix. Lots of contrast and pretty colors. I remember some years ago discovering HDR and thinking how cool it was. But, now I see, like in much else, a little goes a long way. I found of these fotos, that I tended to favor the understated, more realistic pix more.

I loved the artistic qualities of many of these. The perspective and form were just beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Is there a town of Borano? Or is it actually Burano (island off Venice) where the light and colors are gorgeous.
Wherever it was it was a great shot as were all n this slide show.
Thanks photographers!

Hi Carol, glad you enjoyed this slide show. You've got a good eye -- the island's name is Burano, not Borano as greenngold1 wrote. That slipped through, and we'll correct it!
