You wowed us with submissions of varied nighttime scenes from around the world. We've narrowed it down to 19 fantastic shots, including the illuminated Temple of Luxor, the deep blues of nightfall over a Michigan lake, the twinkling lights of San Francisco's Bay Bridge, and late-night diners in a Roman piazza.

I loved the night photos that were featured on your website. Even the homliest city can look magical when lit up at night. I was disappointed that my favorite night time city was not featured among those chosen. The first time I stepped out on the balcony of my hotel room in Budapest and saw the Danube bridges, the castle, and all the other buildings lit up, I gasped with the beauty of it all. That was a sight I'll never forget.
Maybe next time it will be among your favorites.

Great pics! Especially considering how difficult night shots can be for amateur photographers. The Hood River shot was an unexpected surprise for this Oregonian and the shot of the Venetian canal brought back some great memories. Thanks!

An excellent series of photos. I absolutely love "A Rainy Night In New York City". It looks like a film set for "Singing In The Rain".

Beautiful night time photos. It was great to see some of the places I've been which I did not have an opportunity to see at night.

Thanks!

Great night pics; brought back pleasant memories of some of my travels, especially Venice and Rome. Wish I had known about this series as I have some great shots of my own of the Roman Colieseum and St Peter's at night. Leaving soon for a trip to Mediterranean and hope to be able to make more memories to cherish when I reach the stage when I am no longer able to travel.
