What's your dream trip?
Posted by: Budget Travel, Wednesday, Mar 11, 2009, 5:35 PM

Yes, even in these scary economic times, you can still afford to take a big-deal trip. In our latest list of Dream Trips, we highlighted experiences like ballooning over Cappadocia, Turkey, scoring tickets to the World Cup in South Africa, and chasing an eclipse across India.

Where do you hope to visit and why? Share your dream destination by posting a comment below. (You can find out how some staff members answered the question here.)

I would love visit Africa again. I would like to visit with the mountain gorillas and also see Victoria Falls.

I would love to spend a couple of weeks in England, driving all over the countryside, stopping in small towns, visiting with the people, and seeing non-touristy sites. I doubt that my husband would go, but my best friend and I would have the time of our lives!

Gabon in W. Africa for lowland gorillas, beach bum elephants, and still pristine jungle along with Madagascar for its unique island wildlife (lemurs etc.)

I have too many to list, but I'm actually taking one of my dream trips this winter. We're staying in Cape Town for 5 days, driving the coast and then finishing with a 3 day safari in Kruger.

I am determined to drive up thru new england..stopping in Bar Harbor, ME to take the ferry across to Nova Scotia, drive the western coast to Cape Breton, ferry across to Newfoundland, drive the western coast, stopping in Gros Morne, then onto St. Barbe to ferry across the strait of belle Isle & hopefully seeing the famous icebergs on my way to Labrador!! Learning, seeing, doing, hiking, eating..and not necessarily in that order!

My dream trip still is Bora Bora and the Cook Islands. I'm a lucky girl and I already saw Fiji, which was GORGEOUS! And I'm sure I'll make it some day to the other islands of my dreams.
Most people see it as 'just islands', what's the big fuss? But for me every beach, every ocean is different... Maybe it's because I'm a dreamer, but I just LOVE traveling. Congrats to Budget Travel to focus on such a topic in these economic times!
I think everybody should have a DREAM TRIP, even if it's just in our heads to put that smile on our face just thinking about it...:o)

It would be a trip that would last for months, because I would want to spend at least a week in each of these places:
First, Iceland. Then England, Scotland and Ireland, followed by a couple of the Scandinavian countries (in addition to previously-mentioned Iceland, of course). Then on to Amsterdam, Paris, Spain, Venice, Bern, and Chios (Greece). Can't forget Istandul, Petra, Cairo, and Dubai. Onward to Hawaii, swinging down to Uruguay and Chile. I would then hit San Francisco, Albuqerque, Arizona, Montana/Wyoming, Sanibel/Captiva in Florida, the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, Washington (DC), NYC, Montreal and Quebec City and then finally home to Minnesota. Someday...........

1. Mauritius . . . even just the name is enchanting. I have heard about it's beauty, hiking, ruins, temples, etc. and I would love to visit.

2. Cook Islands . . . I am told they are like Hawaii in the 1940's and that's fascinating.

Posted By Judy Williams on March 12, 2009, 11:43 AM

Oops. I forgot one destination on my dream trip: Russia, especially St. Basil's Church and Red Square and, of course, Siberia, with visions of Dr. Zhivago dancing in my head as I glide thru the countryside in a horse-drawn sleigh.

Since my grandmother was born in Norway, coming to the US when she was 12 years old, I would love to visit the country of her birth. Exploring the countryside, photographing fiords, and learning about my ancestors would be a dream trip for me.

Posted By Wendy VanHatten on March 12, 2009, 11:56 AM

I have dreamed of Germany for many years now. We have our passports and have reservations for Baden-Baden now Baden I know. This is where I traced my Great-great grandfather 1820 d.o.b. he came to the U.S. 1850's. We would like to look at countryside. As well as over the border in France. Looking forward to one of our trips planned.

I am traveling to Egypt in July for 5 weeks. The first 4 weeks will be spent working on TESOL certification in Alexandria, with a day trip to Cairo to see the pyramids and sphinx. After I complete my certification, I am flying to the Sinai Desert to stay in a Bedouin camp. From the camp, I will be exploring the desert by camel and jeep - enjoying snorkeling and visiting St. Catherine's Monastery, site of the 10 Commandments and the burning bush.

I would visit Turkey. I'd spend time in exciting and splendid Istanbul and in the gorgeous ports along the Aegean which I've seen before. Then I'd venture inland and visit places famous and not so famous for the first time. I'd go to Trabzon, Kysary, Karamanmarish, and Cappadocia. I'd explore old mosques and churches. I'd wander along the winding country roads in Anatolia, through olive and citrus groves. I'd stop and talk with friendly villagers. Maybe I'd never come home.

Posted By Sara Phillips on March 12, 2009, 1:22 PM

I'm saving for South Africa: to see the Justice building in Jo'burg - a work of art that reflects their philosophy; visit Victoria Falls; stay in an art hotel in Cape Town; drink the wine and enjoy the beach; search out the cave paintings somewhere within 60 miles of Cape Town (does anyone know WHERE exactly?); go on safari for a ocuple of days; find the local handmade crafts and artisens; learn the history; meet the people and whatever else might happen spontaneously.

I would go to Tuscany for a cooking tour. It has always been my dream to take classes with a Tuscan chef in a picturesque Tuscan villa, surrounded by a lush countryside that I can explore when not cooking. Winery tasting tours and other similar jaunts would round out the experience. And perhaps a little shopping in Florence!

My favorite place is a organic farm in Tuscany that has a bed and breakfast. It is called Fattoria Poggio Alloro. They have the best food! The view from their terrace overlooking the vineyards and the medieval towers of San Gimignano is incredible. They grow and raise all their own food and meat and it is just so awesome. And believe it or not, the price is very reasonable. You can check them out at www.fattoriapoggioalloro.com The farm is owned and run by the Fioroni family and they make you feel just like part of their family. I just can't say enough good things about staying there.

I would love to travel through Italy and Greece and France. I have never been to Europe. I have seen and heard so much about the places, sights, food, countryside. I really want to go.

Posted By Vivian ford on March 12, 2009, 3:14 PM

Kyoto. I lived there as a child in a nobleman's house with chrysanthemums cut into the woodwork, shoji doors, and a stream that would run pink or red or green, depending on the freshly-dyed kimono material being rinsed in the river. Across the stream in the woods was our private tea house. My school took us on a field trip every week: a tofu factory, the Heian shrine, ancient temples, towering Buddhas, pristine gardens and monkey parks. In the next 5 years, I will return.

Our dream trip would be to follow along all or part of the Tour de France route, watching the stages, and touring the countryside. We kind of gave up on that one after Lance retired, but are back to dreaming now that he is racing again. We have enough Marriott reward points for a 5 night stay in Monaco to see the opening time trial and 1st stage...still working on airfare, etc!!

My dream vacation is to go anywhere! I have not been away for over 18 years... Can't afford too with four children and a husband out of work! i'd really love to go to Disney with my children. hopefully someday i'll get there before their all grown up...

I do get to live my dream trip this year, a trip to Northern India. India has always fascinated me, from all the great art and literature to the food. My son, husband and I will visit for 12 wonderful days!

Posted By julie goodwin on March 12, 2009, 4:01 PM

Australia.... It seems like such a beautiful place, and who wouldn't want to hug a koala?

St. Lucia... Another place that seems absolutely magical. I love the idea of exploring a culture, riding bikes, relaxing on the beach, and hiking a 2000 foot peak all within 14 miles of island.

We are going on an in-depth Italy in September! Venice, the puddle of elegant decay. San Marino- to climb to the top of this little republic to see the church built in 301. Assisi, where in honor of St. Francis, we will "slow down and smell God's roses". Alberobello which is truly trulli central! We will stay in one of the beehive houses. Ostuni, the city that looks like it is carved from meringue. Matera - the cave city where we will stay in a cave. Nearby is the location for the shooting of The Passion of the Christ. Sorrento for four nights in a home overlooking the sea with sidetrips to Pompeii and Capri. Finally staying near the sea at the Rome airport and taking a day trip into the city to see the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and all the wonderful outdoor historical sites. We are thrilled to take two people with us who have not experienced the joy of travel as much as we have. What fun to share!!!!

My DREAM TRIP is to visit New Zealand and Austrailia. Hike the mountains of New Zealand and relax on Bondi Beach in Sydney.

Posted By Patrick on March 12, 2009, 4:37 PM

My dream trip is a river cruise from St. Petersburg to Moscow. Since I am 80 years old, I need a comfortable ship, not a stripped down former Soviet vessel with steep stairs and uncomfortable beds. I have been to Moscow once, but there are many sights there - the subway, the ballet, etc. - that we did not experience because of time constraints. And I have never been to St. Petersburg. I particularly want to see the Amber Room as well as the palaces and art museum. I hope to do this before I get much more ancient!

Posted By Betty on March 12, 2009, 4:42 PM

Provence, France to hike the hills, drink the wine, taste the olive oil in the fabulous foods, explore the small towns, smell the lavender, and take marvelous photographs of the people and scenery and possibly meet the man of my dreams.

I am working on a trip to Egypt and Jordan this year. Of course, I've still not seen England, Scotland or Ireland - perhaps with prices finally coming down, if I don't get laid off, I might actually manage it this year. The upside and the downside of the economy - if you can avoid the layoffs and paycuts, it might actually be a great time to travel.

I would love to visit the Shaolin Monastary in China.. Egypt.. Austraila

There are so many places that I would like to go but far above them is Ireland.
I am of Irish desent and my Mom has done some research and I would like to do more there. In addition, the scenery is phenominal, the people are amoung the most hospitable and the castle's are awesome. I would love to take a month and see as much as I can, staying mostly in B & B's. I want to experience the REAL Ireland, not the touristy places.

We're not world travellers but have done more travelling than many others. Still... I'd like to go to Bermuda, Japan, do a European River Cruise and check out Petra, Angkor Wat and so much more. We have to have a dream, don't we?

Posted By Francine on March 12, 2009, 5:24 PM

I have several in mind, but right now I am concentrating on my "have brush, will travel" credo. I have been fortunate enough to have been sent to various destinations in exchange for providing my clients with paintings of the place I visited. I spent a week in Paris photographing and then created paintings upon my return to the States. Also had the same opportunity in Sedona, Arizona, and am contemplating another trip this year to Italy. To be able to absorb the essence of a place and then come home and paint it, I can experience the trip twice!

I have several dream trips I hope to turn into reality one day
1.Peru to hike the Inca trail, see Macchu Picchu and explore Cusco and the Sacred Valley.

2.My own personal foodie pilgrimage starting in Barcelona, going up to San Sebastian, meandering through the Dordogne and Provence and then ending up in Paris.

3.An African safari to see cheetahs with a side trip to Victoria Falls.

4.A journey to India to see the Taj Mahal and take in a tiger safari.

I would love to visit Albania and Montenegro. I have been nearby but I think these places will still be like a step back in time.

Posted By Don McFall on March 12, 2009, 5:47 PM

I would go back to Abang, Bali. Nyoman would once again pick us up at the airport and we would go to his country lodge. Hand carved doors, thatch roof and nets around the bed. View of gorgeous lake from balcony where fish are caught and vegetable fields for fresh dinner. Relax or see great sights not found on the regular tourist route. We felt like part of the village with the host family of Nyoman and Ketut cooking and taking care of us. Just watch the steps going upstairs. nyomans_lodge@yahoo.com
Very fair rates!

It wouldn't matter the destination--just give me ease in getting there, good accomodations (with a private room), safety, stamina, good weather, great sites/sights and sounds, interesting people to come to know, fun companions, delicious food and drink, the freedom to be busy or not (depending on my mood) and the choice to be able to stay as long as I wanted. Finally, I would also like for this dream trip to be FREE!

A DREAM trip would be a year + long journey, maybe beginning in Mexico, taking a bus south, staying in casitas along the way. Then South America, and next off to Europe, India, Asia and Africa. The dream is to see the whole world, but to be in each location long enough to know it: the people, the customs, the cultures.

My more tangible dream trip, one that can be attained within the next year perhaps: Cuba.

Posted By Elizabeth on March 12, 2009, 7:11 PM

The Rift Valley at migration time. Because Africa tells us who we are, where we come from, and how to get back. No journey is more profound

Well, this past Dec. I got to go on my dream vacation to the Galapagos Islands. I took my son, as an early 30th birthday present. The trip was amazing & the best part was that I got to share it with him. We saw the giant turtles, land & sea igunas, all kinds of birds ( yes we saw the blue footed boobie), sea lions, etc. He snorkeled with an 8 ft. white tip shark. Happily, I did not !!! We stayed at an eco friendly lodge on Santa Cruz island & they have a yacht that they take you out in every day to explore the islands. It was so much nicer than staying on a boat the whole time.

My dream trip for the near future, is to hike in Austria, staying in small guesthouses along the way. Ever since seeing the Sound of Music, filmed mostly near Salzburg, I've always wanted to visit, and sing "climb every mountain'. End my visit in Vienna after visiting the Palaces of the Hapsburgs and eating genuine Sacher Torte in a coffee house! Only other dream trip would be to stay overnight at the Versailles Palace or the Petite Trianon!!!

For years I have dreamt of a Mediterranean Trip. I first saw the Mediterranean Sea from a train window in 2000 on my first trip to Europe. In all of the amazing places I've visited, nothing is more beautiful than the Mediterranean Sea. It absolutely calls to me. I would travel to Isreal and float in the Dead Sea and connect with myself spiritually. I would travel to Turkey to enjoy the food, the people, the beautiful country. I would lay on the gorgeous beaches of France and sip on sparkling water. I would eat fabulous dinners in Italy and talk the night away at an outside table under the stars. I would explore Spain and Portugal and then head to Morocco to experience the smells and sights. I would hike across Corsica. Ahhh...I have a big smile on my face now and I can make it through my last hour of work before I head home. Thanks Budget Travel!

I've long dreamed of going to Morocco! Especially Fez and Marakesh. I would love to see and try to understand the culture of a North African nation that has such a long, interesting history and has maintained many of its customs and preserved its places.

There are so many places I want to go including but not limited to Australia, to see the northern lights from Norway, Lappland in Sweden, the Dalmation coast, Bermuda, Kenya, Petra in Jordan, Turkey.

I do feel fortunate that I have had the opportunity to see a number of places. The problem is every time I go somewhere, it whets my appetite for more travel.

Posted By brita on March 12, 2009, 10:29 PM

My sons and I have traveled to 5 continents. I would like to travel to all 7 continents by the time they graduate high school. I dream of going to Africa and helping at the John Halgrim orphanage in Kenya and also going on a safari. I would like to take a cruise to Antarctica.

Posted By Susan on March 12, 2009, 10:37 PM

My traveling is endless and should be documented as the longest in Guinness book of world records. But at the very top it's going to the remote Marquisas and just just hanging and lounging but staying with locals, helping teaching at the schools (they often have just one teacher and few materials) and maybe having a go at the Heiva festival doing the Tahitian hula...

Posted By Aubri on March 13, 2009, 3:21 AM

There are so many places to visit, and so little time (and money!), but most recently I've been itching to visit Argentina with a group of girlfriends. I would love to see Buenos Aires, learn to Tango, shop for leather goods, then visit Mendoza's wine country and hopefully a few days on the coast to see a little of the coastal countryside. Not necessarily in that order---and I wouldn't mind traveling there with my husband and children, but they don't enjoy shopping or tours very much, so they would not enjoy it like a group of ladies would. Of course, I would visit in the dead of our winter (I live in upstate NY) so I could enjoy the summer there!

Posted By Tala on March 13, 2009, 9:15 AM

I would visit Cape Town for a week followed by a 3-day visit to Kruger then on to Victoria Falls, Okavanga delta and end in Chobe.

Posted By chuck myers on March 13, 2009, 11:20 AM

My top 'dream destination' - Everest base camp - is now fulfilled, although we only spent a brief overnight there (Tibet side) so I definitely want to go back, or to trek in to one of the Nepalese camps.

Otherwise, I have pored over maps since I was a little kid, and it always seemed like the further and more exotic, the more I wanted to go! My ultimate dream trip would be a round-the-world island-hopping adventure... from little islands like the Azores, Seychelles, St Helena, Galapagos, and Easter Island, to big islands like New Zealand (south island), Iceland, and Sri Lanka.

Other "bucket list" adventures include Antarctica, Patagonia, Cuba (if they ever lift the US travel ban...), Kilimanjaro, Bhutan, Belize/Costa Rica/Guatamala, Turkey, Peru and Ecuador.

A Holland America cruise to anywhere. Cruising provides a wonderful venue for us - the best thing is spending time with my husband (without appointments, cell phones, bills), the ocean, the beauty of well-maintained ships, having a cabin "home away from home" that is cleaned by someone else, eating when and what we want, sleeping in, incredible sights as we near ports, different cultures, watching shows and movies, the wonderful luxury of reading for fun, walking the teak promenade deck at midnight, feeling the sea wind and seeing the twinkling stars against the deep black sky after an elegant meal. Dreaming about a future cruise brings lots of joy our way.

Posted By Seasongs on March 13, 2009, 11:57 AM

Just about any trip would be a dream trip. One of my recent ones is to take my kids to Disney World. Actually, I'd like to see the world.

Would love to take my wife to Africa. Her father grew up there. Also her grandparents were missionaries to africa for 40 years. I myself have always wanted to see Victoria Falls and want to be a spectator for the wildebeast migration.

My husband and I are taking one of our dream trips this summer. We are going to Greece with Cosmos tours. Six days land and seven days by ship.
We had seen Corfu and just fell in love with the place and promised to return to see more of Greece. I love ancient ruins, beaches, water, sunsets...am expecting to experience all plus more.
Having a lot of dream trips will keep me going into a very old age...China, Patagonia, Hawaii, Galapagos, etc. Here's to my husband's and my long life.

I have a long, long list. Topping it is Hawaii, then Australia, then New Zealand, then Fiji. Also want to roam around Italy, and get back to Paris; the Louvre was closed when I was there years ago, and I want to see the Mona Lisa. I want to go to Jerusalem and pray at the Western Wall, and sit by Loch Ness hoping to see Nessie. Have to take in the pyramids in Egypt and do a Nile River Cruise. Ah, dreams...

Posted By Nancy Pomplun on March 14, 2009, 7:29 PM

My husband and I have traveled a great deal, to most of the 50 states, much of Europe and exotic parts of the orient such as Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore. And have loved most every minute (except for an almost fatal attack of "vog sickness" (breathing too much of that heavy conentration of volcanic fumes and fog), while picking coffee beans on a Kona plantation on the Big Island.

And now I'm 80 years "young", strong and healthy and street-wise in the traps of travel. SO I would like to give of my health and experience in helping others. I've never been to Africa, and I would like to learn in which country there I could be of help to needy villagers. No, I'm not a nurse but I've done many hours of volunteer work in my home city, primarily in hospitals. I could be useful in a clinic where most any sort of help woud be required. (I can handle bandaging and bedpans and basic needs.) At the same time, I'd be in a new place, where I could learn about the native customs, see some new and thrilling sights and still work as much as needed with people who need me.

I have never been able to afford a real vacation and have dreamed of going to Africa for a photo safari or maybe the Seycheilles to dive. I usually do weekend or one day road trips. I subscribe to Budget Travel to be able to read and dream of those destinations that I have always wanted to visit.

Of all the places in the world I have visited, the most incredible stop was in the Seychelle Islands. I stopped there many years back when I was in the Navy. At that time, it was described as what Hawaii was like before Hilton built the first hotel there. the people were wonderful and the island was pristene and most beautiful. Truely a WOW.

I've been to all the places mentioned in the preceding comments, with the exception of Africa (other than Egypt) and S. America (and Antarctica). Spent this last November in India. Now am signed on to a trip to Peru in October, and looking beyond that to a lifelong dream: Jordan and Syria. There is so much still to see and experience that I may not have time, I'm 73, to revisit favorites. Russia, Turkey, Greece, New Zealand, Norway and England have been favorites.

My dream trip is sailing into the Galapagos. I really love nature and sea life , I live in St Croix in the Virgin Islands so to go to the Galapagos and see what Darwin saw would be my dream come true .

Posted By Debby on March 16, 2009, 12:23 PM

My dream trip truly is a dream. I certainly hope to accomplish it in pieces, though...

Ten days to two weeks each in Bora Bora, the Seychelles, the Azores, Mauritius, Hawaii, the Galapagos, Bonaire, both sets of the Virgin Islands, Antigua, Curacao, Tobago, St. Martin, the Grenadines, Turks and Caicos, the Caymans, Puerto Rico, and a few other places in the Caribbean. Basically snorkeling our way around the globe. I might add Australia in there if I could fully overcome my paralyzing fear of sharks. :(

Some of those places would be re-visits, but well worth it. If we could spend a six months to a year circling the globe, finding new paradises to explore and new waters to visit, that would be sheer heaven.

What a lovely thought...

My Dream trip would be a cruise of 7 to 12-days duration which hit 3 or 4 major Med. ports, but which concentrated on the Med islands, such as Malta,Crete, Sardinia,Sicily, Santorini, etc. But the cruise lines seem to shun all but one or two of these islands on their itineraries. Anyone know why?

We'd love to see the WWII south pacific battle sites, then see Easter Island and Maccu Picchu, Cusco and finally Egypt, the Holy Land and Petra.

Unfortunately local violence will probably prevent us from seeing anything in Peru or Egypt. Had a customized trip put together for Egypt, but the cheapest air and hotels were not as safe as the more expensive options.

To those who want to see Bora, Bora, Tahiti et al. Lovely. Just ignore the emaciated dogs with ribs sticking out and the 3 legged dogs that have infested the island of Bora Bora and you'll have a lovely time.

I would love to take the Orient Express and/or the Trans Siberian Rail through Russia and Asia. The scenery would be fabulous. It would be wonderful to go with my lover and to get dressed formally for dinner wearing clothes from the 1920's. After dinner and laughing we would fall asleep in each other's arms being gently rocked to sleep on our train bed.

I would love to spend five or six days hiking or railroading in the Cinque Terre and then renting a villa for a week in Tuscany. It might happen next March of April if plans work out. But, in this economy, who knows?? I may need that money for food!!

It would be on a train...Maybe across the length of Canada or on the Orient Express like Heidi. I have taken many train trips but on my dream vacation I would be able to afford nice sleeping accomodations on the train and enjoy a leisurely trip with several stop overs.

I would really like to go to Thailand. Long ago a Nancy Drew book set there caught my imagination. And my husband would love to see Vietnam, now that noone would be shooting at him. Southeast Asia with exotic food, beautiful colors and temples - plus elephants and water travel. maybe some day

Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia. I would travel just for the food.

I've got all kinds of "dream trips", but one that's on the top of my list is coming to fruition this year... 2 weeks in French Polynesia (though I wish it could be more). My husband & I are chartering a sailboat and exploring Raiatea, Tahaa & Bora Bora by sea; and exploring Moorea and Huahine by land.

Other dreams yet to be realized...

-sailing the Grenadines (2010)
-Scotland, Ireland and Wales
-Fiji
-Cook Islands
-St. Lucia

My wife wants to take an Antarctica cruise. I think I will take her for her 45th birthday which means I have 4 years to save the money. That trip ain't cheap. We are going to Scotland in May. I haven't been there in 10 years.

Take the TGV from Paris to Avignon, and spend 7 nights in a small family-owned hotel located inside the medieval city walls. Take a train one day to the coastal Mediterranean enclave of Cassis and on another to the Roman walled city of Arles. Then drive a rental car deep into the Luberon Hills, visit the Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard, and imbibe at several out of the way wineries near Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

I would like to do a rail trip starting in London. after a few days there, I would take the Chunnel to France, branching up to Amsterdam then down to Paris. After some time in Paris, I would travel to Avignon then to Marseilles. The next leg of the trjp would take me to Rome or Naples then to Pompeii. From there,I would travel to Venice. After some time there, I would travel across to Vernazza in the Cinqui Terra. I would then fly home from Florence.

I still have not made it to all 50 states. I would like to do a slow tour of the east coast, midwest and the southeast.

My dreamtrip will become a reality in just a few weeks. Several days touring Prague in the Czech Republic, a train ride through Slovakia and into Budapest, Hungary for a few more days. I have planning on doing this for over 25 years.

My ultimate dream trip would be to fly into Quito, Ecuador and board a chartered yacht that would take us on a cruise to the Galapogos Islands. Then I would like to stay in park/island hotels and be taken on guided tours of the most interesting islands and sanctuaries and tourist spots with a naturalist in tow.
Then it would be back onto the yacht for a final trip back to Quito and the flight home.

I want to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro; that is my number one dream. Second is Mt. McKinley, moose, whales, and grizzly bears hunting salmon. I would love to return to Amsterdam, visit Vienna, see the pyramids in Egypt, taste the sushi in Thailand, ride the outback in Australia, lie on the beach in Hawaii. I'm not gonna lie; South America does not appeal to me-to many very large and hairy arachnids.

I have been blessed in that I have been able to visit nearly 30 countries in my short life. My dream trips however would include, egypt, turkey, jordan, argentina, brazil. Geez my list never ends. i think ultimate the dream trip for me would have no time frame, an open road, and the money needed to make it happen and to prevent any worries about finding work, etc when or if I returned.
