It seems that Air France is getting into the holiday spirit: The airline just announced that passengers can now stop over in Paris for free on all flights to Europe, Middle East, India, or Africa. The Paris break comes at no additional charge regardless which direction you're flying, what class ticket you bought, or how much (or little) you paid. There's no maximum or minimum stay requirement (other than the one associated with the ticket itself) and you can even take advantage of the stopover option with tickets that have already been purchased. Happy Thanksgiving!

What a great deal! My wife and I were already planning a trip to Paris in the spring. With the free stop overs, we added a few days in Rome. A direct flight to Paris for under $700 was terrific. But having flights to/from Rome included is a steal. I've been to northern Italy but never have made it to Rome so it is an (almost) free bonus. Just wish the dollar was doing better against the euro....but you only live once.

I love this option from Air France as I booked a flight to Dublin with some time in France on the way home. It is ironic that it cost me less to fly direct to Paris with a connection to Dublin than it does just to fly directly to Paris!
Air France has been offering some unheard of airfare recently that I couldn't resist the chance to spend St Patrick's Day in Dublin and some time in Southern France too.
