Save/ShareLike to go surfing? You'll want to choose your airline carefully from now on. Travel Weekly reports that fees for stowing surfboards are rising on several airlines.
Continental, Delta, and United now charge $150 per board (up from $80, $80, and $75, respectively).
CORRECTION: Sept. 8: Continental charges $100, not $150, like I (and Travel Weekly) first reported.
American, which used to charge $25, now charges $100, and JetBlue has hiked its fee to $50.
The airlines with the lowest fees? Quantas and Air New Zealand. They don’t charge any fee.

Is this still the policy with Jet Blue? I was told that we can't take a board at all. it is a long board. we are flying out to SAN on the 20th
