American Airlines flight 268 was flying yesterday between Seattle and New York City when apparently there was an electrical failure. An "unscheduled landing" was made in Chicago's O'Hare airport.
Pam Mandel, who blogs at Nerd's Eye View, was onboard the flight. In a blog post, she describes what it was like. The short version: The crew, the pilot, all the safety and security folks were all terrific.
Congrats to everyone involved in making for a safe landing. We're lucky to have some fantastic pros at work at American and O'Hare.
