From the September 2008 issue of Budget Travel: Starwood's first Aloft and Element hotels are opening this summer, sporting a trendy design and amenities such as self-service check-in kiosks and a touch-screen concierge. Aloft hotels are in about a dozen cities [Montreal was the first one]; Element is currently only in Lexington, Mass.

I love traveling myself so I can really appreciate quick service, like self check in, but I hope the rest of your trip went well. I've learned through my many travels that where you stay really affect the whole tone of your trip. I work for Hampton Inn so I've gotten used to the best, :-D You should really come stay with us next time you travel. You won't be disappointed.

Oh and all rooms are 10% off here's the link and come check us out.

P.S.

Check out this funny video, called "Ballad of a Traveler", it is hilarious. He totally sums up the travelers experience:

I actually went to Starwood's warehouse in Hawthorne, NY, where they've built an entire Aloft lobby and model rooms, as well as an Element dining/pantry area and rooms. They're surprisingly cool, with great new technology. Aloft is kinda like W Lite. Element will be great for families with young kids (free breakfasts, healthy kid-friendly snacks/meals you can buy and cook in your in-room kitchen, etc.)

Now that I think of it, I should write about it on MY blog!
